Today's Keyboard Smash
Aug. 5th, 2021 04:44 pmI had a dream that consisted of a "Steve rescues Bucky from Hyrda" fic, which was also an Avengers/Pokémon crossover. Apparently, all the eeveelutions are Hydra experiments and now emotionally bonded with the Winter Soldier. Um. Okay, brain. Two great tastes that...taste...dubious together. I'm not writing that crossover. It's not happening.
Also, there was a very enjoyable moment when some henchman was talking shit about Steve not being able to catch him because it's not like you can shoot around corners. Cue Hawkeye and an Acme-esque tracking arrow that does, indeed, follow people around corners. Steve was extremely smug while bundling the thus-incapacitated henchman into a carpet. (I don't know if this was going to end with a mob-style body dump, but hey, that's sure a thing.)
This episode of Dream Talk brought to you once more by updates on my workplace's covid protocols as shit gets bad again and my resulting need for some therapeutic head-in-sand time.
