When they realized they were in the middle of a coffee date with someone who seemed to know them very well, they understood they had hopped bodies once again. It took time for the energy to build up for another hop and the ever-more-distant chance of making it back to their original form. In the meantime, they cobbled together whatever understanding of their new identity they could, hoping they could fake their way through yet another borrowed life well enough to cause no damage to the real owner of the body.
