scrubjayspeaks: Town sign for (fictional) Lake Lewisia, showing icons of mountains and a lake with the letter L (Lake Lewisia)
Preparations continue apace for the 1944 Duel of Daisies Parade, returning after a two-year absence due to wartime concerns. With most supplies of fresh flowers and plants going to support our witches on the frontlines, those wishing to decorate wagons, buggies, and motor cars for the parade have relied on good old-fashioned Lewisian ingenuity to craft flowers and leaves from scrap metal, paper, and fabric. We hear there's even going to be a whole wagon done up in back issues of yours truly, the Lewisia Herald, so be sure to drop off this old broadsheet at the collection bins around town when you're done reading.
