Day job: 42.5 hours, which doesn't properly capture the skipped breaks and the wrestling with equipment and the bone-deep exhaustion and my newly-acquired authorization to use a forklift

Gardening: second area of sweet corn planted, along with marigolds, sunflowers, and calendula in the orchard, planted salvia and broom corn in the castle garden, Pandemic Garden Club post, took office plants outside for deep watering

Listening: I've been meaning to listen to the audiobook of Haruki Murakami's Wind-Up Bird Chronicle, a book I attempted to read in college and succeeded in reading some years later, and I managed to start listening while falling asleep for a nap--which is, I've decided, exactly as disorienting as reading the book while fully conscious
