Following Sunday's unexpected hatching of various pebbles, rocks, and boulders around town, we have received a number of questions from residents concerned about the emerging creatures who have imprinted on them. If you are one of the people whose landscape rocks or collection of interesting stones has just hatched and begun squeaking and asking for food, congratulations on your new parenthood! While scientists are still trying to determine if this hatching is permanent, we will be hosting emergency educational workshops at the library and the lakeside visitor's center on the proper care of geological life forms to get you started.
