Lake Lewisia #840
Jul. 6th, 2022 04:04 pmHe always enjoyed a stroll around lunchtime, something to pique his appetite and refresh his mind. He admired the detergent smell of a restaurant's freshly scrubbed patio tables, the slow red pulse of stoplights making the lone car at an intersection wait its turn, the bell-clear ring of some lost human's footsteps on the sidewalk just out of view. That last one might make him pick up his leisurely pace a bit: he had plenty to eat at home, but sometimes it was nice to get someone while he was out.
