Done This Week

Hnnnngggg... Work kicked my ass--no backup, broken machines, immediately made up for all the missed opportunities for minor hand injuries while I was on vacation. Also, some dipshit tried to convince the operators to circumvent the safety shielding, and now I'm going to have to fight that particular battle in the coming week. Everyone agrees that I'm not allowed to take a week off again, because they really can't be left unattended.

Followed by a migraine all weekend. Missed my succulent club meeting for only the second time in the 6+ years I've been going. Feel like someone's been kicking me in the spine all night. Please bury me in soft peat and recycle me for fire lighters.

Day job: 43.5 hours, and we are back in the trenches, baby

Crafting: finally finished a kumihimo cord for the oak leaf pendant I bought over the summer

Listening: Night of the Worm Moon by Shana Cleveland (dreamy and lovely), Thunderbird by Night Runner (holy shit, so good, came for the collab with Dan Avidan, stayed for the 80s power chords and atmosphere)

Other: got the car back from the shop--oh, my aching wallet...
