Done This Week

Man, come on, I gotta stop getting hurt. Got in a knockdown, drag-out fight with a piece of equipment midweek, which absolutely demolished my bad shoulder (and my ribs, and my lower back and...). It responded well to anti-inflammatories and alternating ice and heat, which was the only reason I didn't have to go into urgent care the next day and make inquiries about workman's comp.

It's been a month and a half, and I'm still not really figuring out how to adapt to my new five-day schedule. Oh, it's been fine for the little things. It's the writing. I end up leaving it all for the weekend, which basically means just Saturday. Then on Saturday, I'm like, cool, but I don't want to do...things? I wish to be dumb and spacey.

(Oh, I am so spacey lately. Just listening to music and staring off into the distance. I'm not sorry about it, exactly, because heaven knows the last time I got my brain to run at a speed I can actually cope with. But it feels weird.)

Lewisia: the first of the new bonus material roughed out, no idea if I actually like this idea...

Day job: 43.25 hours

Listening: Wild Love by Jabril Yousef (kind of dance-y, electric stuff, charming)

Other: D&D session, and I'm just starting (irl) to get that run away, never should have agreed to form social bonds feeling that usually makes me flee from any kind of interaction, but on the plus side, I (in character) managed to absolutely shishkebab an enemy at last
