Done This Week
Oct. 8th, 2023 09:02 amHoly--! Okay. Alright. Got my car back. Only cost me most of a month’s wages. Cool and fine. At least I am no longer losing my mind from overstimulation quite as much.
(I still, notably, have a trainee with me every blessed moment of the work day. And parents at home, such that I maybe get an hour a day alone there. Which is why getting my 50 minutes of solitary commute time back was so important. I want to murder every person who comes near me right now, and this is an improvement.)
Whumptober managed to sneak up on me. Do I have time to be brainstorming, drafting, and posting a story every day? No, not really. I miss my breaks at work so often, most of the writing has to get done once I get home. But damn it, I like doing it. It’s got me writing for Stranger Things at last, which I’ve been too nervous to jump into up to this point.
Lewisia: 3 new pieces, plus another bonus piece written
Day job: 45.25 hours, and I’m back to pulling OT constantly, yAaAaY~~~
Listening: Existential Shred by Baby Got Back Talk (found randomly via tumblr, as one does, quite enjoyable, though I maintain that the whole genre needs to mix their vocals better so I can actually understand what they’re saying)
Aftermarket Parts: only got to listen to the intro for Module 3 before the week got away from me
Whumptober: 11295 words written across seven fills
