I ordered the hair dye, at last. I had been hemming and hawing about it, because it's pretty pricey. I waited so long, though, that they sold out of one of the colors I wanted. So I will not, at this stage, be doing candy corn hair, because there's no yellow to be had. If it comes back in stock before Halloween, maybe I'll get some. For now, though, I've got orange and black on their way. And really, what other colors do I actually need in my life?
I expect it to take an extended amount of time for it to get here, as they're warning of delays due to social distancing among their workers. Good! Take as long as you need! In the meantime, I shall simply dream of my future Halloween hair.
I slept marginally better last night. Do I know why? Of course not! Do I have a hope in hell of replicating it tonight? Probably not! *hands*
Having finished the summer mini arc for Lake Lewisia, I find myself wanting another ~project~ of some sort. This is not necessarily smart of me--I'm not sure I have the energy for a project. But on the other paw, having a concrete goal to which I must work via incremental progress is EXTREMELY good for me. It might be the only good thing I've ever found, with all other good things basically just being a variation on that theme. (Examples being: Lake Lewisia itself, Shabby Recaps, House of Cats, and those are just the writing ones.) I'll think about it.
And finally, your flower of the day:
