Some have expressed concern about the recent rash of resident abductions onto ancient ships borne by rolling tides of fog in the middle of town, crewed by misfit bands of more or less humanoid visage. We remind everyone that all waters eventually connect to the sea and, conversely, all waters eventually acquire their share of pirate ships: just one of the small prices we pay for living near our beloved lake. Also, abductees have so far been returned within a fortnight only moderately weirder for wear, and we will all get used to their new accents in time.
