scrubjayspeaksEyyy, got off work early today. Last year, they suggested they might let us leave early and then changed their minds. So none of us really trusted it until we were out the door for sure. Despite that, I am somehow more exhausted than ever. Something about the job I'm running right now is really taking it out of me. Specifically, it seems to be taking out my knee joints with a baseball bat. :/
I'm very excited for Thanksgiving tomorrow, in part because it will be exactly the same as it ever is for us. We never go anywhere; we never have any guests. There will be lots of food and only as much drama as we decide to inflict on ourselves, which will hopefully be minimal. All that being said? Right now, I'm just ready to slither into bed and let today end without me. So tired.
