You may be eager for spring to begin later this month, but there is still some time for preparation first: time for the Window Opening Festival. Make sure you've got your paper fans at the ready (plenty are still available at Quartz Family Hardware), throw open every window and door in your house, and waft out unwanted spirits, bad luck, and the accumulated stale air of winter. It's still cold out there, so don't forget to close those windows up again when you're done--your bad luck has already fled!
