The public is advised to avoid the area around the Grand Cedars Hotel, as reclamation activities have begun on the building and the grounds around it. We don't know who has decided to reclaim the long-derelict resort or for what purpose, but all the signs have been observed by hikers passing through that section of the forest. Scaffolding strung together by spider silk, foundation-altering burrows, and assembled stockpiles of lumber, masonry, and live insects all pose a danger to anyone who decides to ignore the posted-if-incomprehensible warnings against (we assume) trespassing.
