If I keep sewing at this rate, I might as well just start making my own clothes again. I am deep, deep down the homestead lifestyle rabbit hole at the moment. I can envision a day in which I am mending clothing by the light of candles made from my hive's wax while simultaneously listening to radio plays podcasts on a tablet and waiting for the homegrown beans to finish cooking in the Instant Pot, which is exactly the mix of archaic and futuristic that I have always dreamed of.

Day job: 50.5 hours, because obviously we had to cosmically balance out my day off the week before

Cooking: currently obsessed with the walnut- and dried cranberry-enhance chicken salad I make and the aioli I can't stop consuming with every meal

Crafting: patched two pairs of work pants, a mask, and another tshirt

Gardening: picked up another freebie plant from the club, generally malingered in the garden--guys, I am so freaking excited to show you what I have growing!

Listening: (why haven't I made a "listening" segment before???) getting back into the 2018 season of Hidden Almanac, on top of all the usual suspects, mostly to amuse myself whilst sewing
