scrubjayspeaksMy body doesn't want to play and work was ehhhhh... But I had a really lovely weekend and now have a bunch of craft project stuff and some (unfortunately expensive) fancy produce. The heatwave here has temporarily relented. (Don't worry--I won't get used to it.) Life feels pretty good at the moment--it feels like all the good parts of summer, without all the bits that make me absolutely despise summer.
Lewisia: 3 new pieces written
Gratitude journaling: 35 new entries
Tumblr queue: 35 posts added
Day job: 31.5 hours, which still somehow succeeded in being the Longest Week Ever
Crafting: resumed crocheting a Half-Assed Blanket, in preparation for Sekrit Blanket Project #1, about which more later
Gardening: mulch everywhere!, planted some of last year's pumpkin seeds to round out my gourd-based life choices, spread around a bunch of gathered hollyhock seeds for shits and giggles, repotted more aggressive agaves (plant children, please, calm your tits???)
Reading: finished Field Guide to the Haunted Forest, started and once again gave up on reading Ursula K. Le Guin's The Wind's Twelve Quarters--I want so badly to be a good SFF fan and read her stuff and I don't know why I bounce off this one every time, but god, I do
Watching: rewatched The Fifth Element, because I've been in a vintage goofball movie mood
Other: archived my Mad Max: Fury Road meta, "The Clan of the Boltcutter," to AO3 finally; went shopping on the coast for many delicious fruits and for Sekrit Blanket yarn
