The Chili Cook Off will take place this Saturday at the Lakeside Fair, with judging at 10:30 AM and public tasting beginning at 11:30 AM. Allergen and dietary information will be available at every station (yes, even for the secret ingredients), and there will be something for every palate, from all-meat to all-bean to last year's winning all-pepper Murder in a Bowl chili. Remember that, per the rules, none of the chili qualifies as fae food regardless of ingredient origins, and sampling will not constitute a binding agreement, no matter what certain cooks may try to tell you (wrought iron spoons available upon request for those still concerned).
