scrubjayspeaksLather, rinse, repeat. Joints are not great. It's hard to tell the fatigue from the boredom, as work is currently very slow for me personally. This despite--or, hell, maybe because of--them finally stealing my trainee away to second shift. That was always the plan, but damn it, I was really getting used to having a second set of hands available. Now I have a second set of hands over which I have no control, only a very tenuous hope that I've taught them well enough to cope on their own.
The overtime has stretched me thin enough that I'm having difficulty keeping up with my normal activities. I've had full day-consuming activities on one day out of both the last two weekends, admittedly. The strain of that cannot be overstated. But still. I have a strong sense of not-enough-ness right now.

Day job: 50.5 hours, and now we're properly in the thick of this round of mandatory OT
Gardening: succulent club meeting, around which there was Drama™, because if there's one thing I want out of my pointy plant enthusiast group, it's interpersonal drama and hyperlocal politics
Reading: listening to the audiobook of Handmaid's Tale, which I felt compelled to reread and also which is absolutely not helping right now, also reading Amanda Montell's Cultish, which was mentioned on a podcast and now I can't remember which one
Other: attended my first ever Renaissance Festival, which was basically fun, though suffering from some real logistical and accessibility issues
