Please, as we are all always in a story, we must remember to be genre savvy if we want to thrive. Today's genre reminder is that, in a horror story, never split the party--infighting does the villain's work for them. So if you find yourself feeling the horror of the times bearing down on you, ask yourself: who is trying to survive this with me and how can I keep them close enough to watch each other's backs?
