The password manager app had been a boon to one who spent so much time shopping while homebound, but she did start to notice what she first mistook for a glitch. Whenever she found some odd shop in the backwoods of the internet--scrap metal and ceramic mobiles of prehistoric fish, period-accurate Victorian clothing in psychedelic patterns, candles scented like wet dog--she found the app already had a login saved for her, just waiting for her first order. Once she admitted it wasn't just an error, she started looking to see where else the app thought she should be shopping, and found a whole suite of lovely businesses with unexpectedly similar shipping addresses.
