At the swap meets and in the antique stores, they were noticed only because of the particular quality of their clothing and their gimlet-eyed assessment of mid-century furniture. On the online forums and in the video comment sections, they were mildly disliked for always referencing original documents no one else could seem to source and of which they were resolutely unwilling to share even blurry photos. They were neither known nor remembered, fashionably vintage ghosts slipping through the relevant spaces, and the members of the Historical Society would have it no other way.
