scrubjayspeaksIn addition to having Monday off for the holiday, I took Thursday and Friday. This was originally to accommodate my follow-up appointment, but then mum had the galaxy brain suggestion to just...take Friday as well. It’s not like I don’t have the PTO available. I’m assuming I’ll come back to the place on fire tomorrow, but that’s a problem for future!Jay.
I really wish I could focus better right now. I have a bunch of things I want to work on/towards. The first thing I need to do is planning, brainstorming, listing, that sort of thing. And damn it, I cannot even get myself to sit down and start scribbling on any of that.
Lewisia: 3 new pieces, plus another bonus piece written, queued up September
Day job: 19.75 hours, in which I paid a steep price in extra-long days for getting to take days off
Cleaning: continued to winnow my clothing
Gardening: picked up a trailer load of free compost, garden club post
Watching: rewatched a couple episodes of Leverage--we’ll see if that turns into actually being able to watch shows on a regular basis
Listening: Heroes by The Midnight, which rounds out that trilogy (obsession continues)
Other: help mum upgrade a medical device
Aftermarket Parts: three months and my first follow-up
