They say the past is a foreign country, and the school strongly believed in the value of travel and cultural exchange in raising well-rounded individuals. It was therefore only natural that they developed time travel capacity to allow advanced students to study abroad--in the broadest possible sense. Of course, they weren’t fools: younger students first had to complete classes in archaic language, customs, and survival skills, gradually specializing toward their era of interest.
