They stayed up late every night, twin frustrations for their parents, to stargaze cheek to cheek on the grass. Together they charted strange constellations, built from stars no one else could seem to spot even with telescopes, and told the myths behind each one. As they grew, they followed paths into physics and comparative religion both, plotting in secret how they would get up to those stars only they knew.
