Done This Week

Yaaay, I actually went outside and touched grass! After the heat wave, we’ve had some very chilly nights, but the days are still very unseasonably warm. So to hell with last frost dates, we’re just going for it. Seeds in the ground!

Nothing worth talking about at work. Having a three-day weekend was very much needed, though. The most important part of it was that I got to leave on time to make it home and watch the Moon launch! Woo!

Lewisia: 3 new pieces written, April posts queued up

Day job: 34.75 hours, with Friday as a holiday

Cooking: the traditional lemon braided loaf, a sort of mushroom and walnut with goat cheese...substance...that ended up as sandwich filling

Cleaning: filled the bird feeder for the first time in ages

Gardening: fixed the broken starter line on the lawn mower, planted seeds in the castle garden and the wildflower field

Reading: The Twisted Ones by T. Kingfisher (not as completely disturbing as some of her later horror stories, though I also very pointedly did not read it except in broad daylight :D)

Watching: The X-Files season one, episodes 19-22

Listening: lact’eben by Trhä (h/t to KEXP again, this is black metal in various conlangs, considering my usual objection to black metal is that I can’t understand a thing the singer is saying, this is perhaps the one perfect way for me to listen to it)

Playing: beat the Elite Four in my latest game of Let’s Go, Pikachu!, so I’ve got that going for me :3
