She had always been taught that magic in the body was the hardest of all, that few could ever change their shape at will in any meaningful way, because the human sense of identity in their body map was so strong. She had also been taught her body was ugly and wrong, too much and too little, not what she thought it was and not intended for her use or enjoyment. Between one breath and the next, she changed size and color and shape, morphing like water filling a vessel, because her body had only ever been a place of lies anyway.
